Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: Does the Minister stand by her statement “There are parts of the Employment Relations Act that could do better at lifting New Zealand’s productivity and economic growth”, and if so, how could the Employment Relations Act lift productivity and economic growth?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I stand by my statement. I will be considering how parts of the Employment Relations Act could be improved, so employers and employees are able to focus on the important aspects of their business. This will contribute to lifting New Zealand’s productivity and economic growth.
