Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the action ‘Develop and implement a workforce strategy that addresses both the immediate capacity and capability issues and the long-term growth needs of the dementia mate wareware and aged care sector, recognising the impact of the ageing workforce, so there are enough appropriately skilled and qualified people available when needed’ under the objective ‘Strengthen leadership and capability across the sector’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Improving Dementia Mate Wareware Services in Aotearoa New Zealand Action Plan?
