Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What specific actions does he intend to take in order to deliver on his priorities for his portfolio, in light of the Ministry of Transport's Briefing to Incoming Minister (Strategic) identifying that previously planned expenditure for the next 20 years would stretch management capacity?

Hon Simeon Brown: As detailed in the draft GPS 2024, I have a range of reforms planned including moving to a long-term infrastructure pipeline and 10-year NLTP. These will give the industry greater certainty over future projects and funding levels, and more confidence to invest in the additional capacity needed to deliver our priorities.
