2773 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What leadership, involvement, and support will the government give to the aviation, rail, and maritime sectors, if any, to enable them to decarbonise as quickly as possible?

Hon Simeon Brown: The Government will set direction on policies to support emissions reduction through the second emissions reduction plan. The Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) is the Government’s key tool to reduce emissions.
