Pursuant to the Maritime Transport Act 1994, on 13 December 2023 I signed the following maritime rules amendments: • Part 19: Maritime Transport Operator – Certification and Responsibilities • Maritime Rules Part 32: Seafarer Certification • Maritime Rules Part 40A: Design, Construction and Equipment, and 42B: Safety Equipment • Marine Protection Rules Part 199: Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships.
