2748 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has occurred in the latest quarter towards the initiative to implement fast-track foundation training for practitioners to quickly scale up service capacity, as included on page 21 of 'Getting to Smokefree 2025', as at 27 January 2025?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the October to December 2024, Health New Zealand worked with funded training providers to review the fast-track foundation training programme, which is expected to be implemented by July 2025.
