Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 in implementing the recommendation ‘undertake detailed evaluation at DHB level to understand why a high proportion of patients are presenting acutely’ in the Bowel Cancer Quality Improvement Report 2019?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. This includes New Zealanders living with cancer. I am advised that work has moved beyond this action.
