2707 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 4 March 2024, by title and date?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents between 4 to 8 March 2024 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC):
• The King’s Service Order, 6 March 2024 (partial release of the title of this document)
• Space Portfolio: Proposed Scope, 8 March 2024
• Strengthening New Zealand’s Resilience to National Risks, 8 March 2024.
I also received four documents on 5 March 2024, one document on 7 March 2024 and one document on 8 March 2024. It is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents.
I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings.
In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
