2685 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How many cases of sexual harassment resulted in financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), that there were no financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments relating to sexual harassment during each calendar year from 2023 to 2025. The Ministry holds no records indicating any outcomes being made between 2019 and 2022. Records prior to 2019 are not held or incomplete in line with authorised and disposal requirements under the Public Records Act 2005.
