Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How many recorded incidences of workplace bullying, if any, have occurred in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), that fewer than five recorded incidences of workplace bullying, have occurred during each calendar year since 2023 to 2025 in relation to staff. As the number is less than five, individuals involved are easily identifiable in sensitive employment matters, should a case by calendar year be disclosed. The Ministry holds no records indicating recorded incidences being made between 2019 and 2022. Records prior to 2019 are not held or incomplete in line with authorised and disposal requirements under the Public Records Act 2005.
