Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) between 27-31 January 2025: • Fortnightly Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery 27 January 2025 • Mātihetihe Marae Visit, 31 January 2025 • Emergency Management Bill/EMSIP Relationship, 31 January 2025 • Emergency Management System Slides for NICF update, 31 January 2025 Jointly with the Prime Minister, I received one document on 30 January 2025: North Island Weather Events (NIWE): Monthly Progress Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects. Jointly with the Minister of Finance, I received one document on 28 January 2025. It is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and the DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
