2570 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Defence: How many cases of sexual harassment resulted in financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence had none. Since 2018, the New Zealand Defence Force has not recorded any cases of sexual harassment resulting in financial settlements, and there are no cases of sexual harassment resulting in ex gratia payments. The New Zealand Defence Force does not hold centrally recorded data for the years prior to 2018.
