2562 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Customs: How many cases of sexual harassment were referred to external investigators, mediators, the Police, or other external authorities in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service has had one case of sexual harassment that was referred to an external investigator during the period 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2025. This case occurred in 2022.
