2559 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Customs: What categories of workplace bullying allegations have been recorded in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, broken down by type of behaviour, if any?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) has responded to 35 complaints of bullying during the period 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2025. Customs has recorded the following categories of workplace bullying allegations throughout this period: bullying; bullying and intimidation; harassment; and, behaviour in the workplace. I refer the Member to the attached appendix which provides the recorded categories of these complaints broken down by calendar year.
