Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents from 27 – 31 January 2025 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • Prime Minister’s Weekly Brief, 27 January 2025 • Transfer of responsibility – Proposed fees for panel conveners and expert panel chairs and members appointed under the Fast-track Approvals Act, 28 January 2025 • Government Appointments in 2025, 28 January 2025 • Russia Sanctions, 29 January 2025 • Responsibilities of the Associate Minister for ACC (Hon Nicola Grigg), 29 January 2025 • Prime Minister’s Weekly Brief, 31 January 2025 I also received one document on 29 January 2025 and four documents within the timeframe however, it is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents. In addition, jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I have received the following document: • North Island Weather Events (NIWE): Monthly Progress Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects, 30 January 2025. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
