Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What employment or engagement outcomes resulted from recorded incidences of workplace bullying in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, broken down by outcome category, if any?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand always formally addresses any instances of recorded / substantiated workplace bullying, and a disciplinary process is applied which can include dismissal. Although WorkSafe tracks the number of bullying allegations received and addressed, I am advised that this information is not readily available and would require significant time/resource to collate, and I do not consider it is in the public interest to do so.
