2352 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister of Health: During 2024, what percentage of patients at Auckland City Hospital waited less than four months for their first specialist assessment from the date they were referred?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government has introduced five health targets that are tightly focused on ensuring timely, quality access to healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that the First Specialist Assessment waitlist data is produced nationally at a district level only. I am further advised, as I said in Written Question reply 953 (2025), that Health New Zealand publishes verified data on a quarterly basis.
