2349 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister of Local Government: Can Aucklanders expect a regional deal for Auckland to be completed by the end of 2025?

Hon Simon Watts: I am advised that submissions for a City and Regional deal are current open, and councils have been invited to submit a proposal by the end of February 2025. I am further advised that the Government has committed to signing the first deal by the end of 2025.
