2331 (2025). Lan Pham to the Minister of Finance: What advice, reports, briefings, or any other document, if any, has the Minister or any member of their office received referring in part or whole to privatisation or corporatisation of water services since January 2024, listed by title and date?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury has not provided the Minister or any member of their office with any advice on privatisation of water services. The Treasury advised the Minister on aspects of organisational form only, notably that standard corporate forms align with best practice and that the water services delivery entities should not be prohibited from making distributions.
