2313 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How many cases of workplace bullying resulted in financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), that of the cases identified (fewer than five between 2023 and 2026 as stated in my response for WPQ 2306), no cases of workplace bullying resulted in financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments to any staff. The Ministry holds no records indicating that any such outcomes were made between 2019 and 2022. Records prior to 2019 are not held or incomplete in line with authorised and disposal requirements under the Public Records Act 2005.
