Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How many individuals received formal disciplinary sanctions short of dismissal or termination following findings of workplace bullying in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, that of the cases identified (fewer than five between 2023 and 2026 as stated in my response for WPQ 2306), no individuals received formal disciplinary sanctions short of dismissal or termination following findings of workplace bullying. The Ministry holds no records indicating such disciplinary outcomes were made between 2019 and 2022. Records prior to 2019 are not held or incomplete in line with authorised and disposal requirements under the Public Records Act 2005.
