2309 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: What was the total value of financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments relating to workplace bullying in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), that there were no financial settlements, compensation payments, or ex gratia payments relating to workplace bullying in relation to any staff during each calendar year from 2023 to 2026. The Ministry holds no records indicating that such payments were made between 2019 and 2022. Records prior to 2019 are not held or incomplete in line with authorised and disposal requirements under the Public Records Act 2005.
