2273 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Education: Does the Minister agree that replacement of Auckland Girls' Grammar's gymnasium "has taken too long to get to this point" as Ministry officials expressed in their letter to me in December 2021, and if so, when is the Minister expecting this to be completed?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) has advised me that the Auckland Girls’ Grammar gymnasium project is in the detailed design and consenting stages. Construction is expected to start in late 2024, subject to approval of a business case by the Ministry. It is estimated that construction will take 12 months. This project is not subject to a value for money review by the Ministry. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 2272 (2024).
