2252 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Rail: As of 1 January 2025, how many staff, if any, are currently employed by KiwiRail to work on the Coastal Pacific rail service?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: KiwiRail has advised there are 33 onboard staff employed. Please note staff members can work across both the Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine services and are scheduled on either route as required.
