Hon Simon Watts: I have not requested any Regulatory Impact Analysis exemptions. However, my officials requested (and received) exemptions for the following Cabinet papers proposing minor regulatory amendments: Modernise regulations by removing requirement for newspaper notice, Clarifying access rights under the Electricity Act 1992, Gas Governance (Critical Contingency Management) Amendment Regulations 2024, Gas Governance (Critical Contingency Management) Amendment Regulations 2024; and the following paper seeking policy decisions: Energy and Electricity Security Bill: Policy Decisions – Proposal to amend the Commerce Act I have not requested any Regulatory Impact Analysis exemptions.
