2198 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Defence: How many individuals received formal disciplinary sanctions short of dismissal or termination following findings of workplace bullying in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence had none. Since 2018, seven individuals working for the New Zealand Defence Force received a formal disciplinary sanction short of dismissal or termination. This excludes informal outcomes, such as a letter of expectation. The New Zealand Defence Force does not hold centrally recorded data for the years prior to 2018.
