2196 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Defence: How many individuals were dismissed, required to resign, or had their engagement terminated following findings of workplace bullying in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence had none. Between 2018 and 2025, the New Zealand Defence Force recorded three cases of dismissals or terminations following findings of workplace bullying. The New Zealand Defence Force does not hold centrally recorded data for the years prior to 2018.
