2194 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Defence: How many cases of workplace bullying were referred to external investigators, mediators, the Employment Relations Authority, or other external bodies in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence had none. Since 2016, the New Zealand Defence Force has recorded 29 cases of workplace bullying that have been referred to external investigators, 9 cases referred to mediation and 4 cases referred to the Employment Relations Authority. The New Zealand Defence Force does not hold centrally recorded data for 2015.
