2134 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is the Minister considering changes to the Health Practitioners Competence assurance act, as per page 20 of Te Whatu Ora's Health Workforce Plan 2023/24?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised the Ministry of Health is progressing the review of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance (HPCA Act) Act 2023. As part of this review, the Ministry will provide advice on next steps to improve regulatory settings under the HPCA Act.
