2133 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many Regulatory Impact Analysis exemptions, if any, has the Minister received when bringing cabinet papers to Cabinet, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Since 27 November 2023, the Department of Internal Affairs has requested five RIA exemptions. As the Minister of Internal Affairs, I have made no requests for Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) exemptions. Requests for RIA exemptions are made by the responsible department or agency.
