2118 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last quarter to improve pathways to nurse practitioner, nurse prescriber, and other specialist nursing roles?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that a between October and December 2023, it was decided that 121 places on the Nurse Practitioner Training Programme (NPTP) would be fully funded for the 2024 academic year - a 51.3% increase compared to last year.
