2094 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister for the Environment: How many Regulatory Impact Analysis exemptions, if any, has the Minister requested when bringing cabinet papers to Cabinet, since November 2023?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: As Regulatory Impact Assessments belong to the government agency, any exemptions are sought by that agency and not the Minister. While the requirements for Regulatory Impact Assessments were temporarily relaxed in the October 2023-March 2024 period, I sought no exemptions.
