2056 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Biosecurity: How many Regulatory Impact Analysis exemptions, if any, has the Minister requested when bringing cabinet papers to Cabinet, since November 2023?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: Regulatory Impact Analysis exemptions are requested by departments. Since November 2023, I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries applied for, and was granted two exemptions (one in full, one partial exemption) under my Biosecurity portfolio for proposals which triggered RIA requirements.
