2024 (2025). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: Is it the Minister's intention to publish an energy strategy in 2025?

Hon Simon Watts: I am advised that in late 2024, the Government issued a Government Policy Statement (GPS) on electricity which outlines the Government’s role in delivering affordable and secure electricity at internationally competitive prices. I am further advised that the Government has been considering whether to proceed with an Energy Strategy. No decisions have been made.
