2010 (2026). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many, if any, workplace fatalities were reported to WorkSafe during the week of January 26th 2026?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that, between 26 January and 1 February 2026, WorkSafe New Zealand received one fatality notification between 26 January and 1 February 2026, which is yet to be assessed to determine if it is the result of a work-related incident.
