1960 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What steps, if any, has he taken to ensure councils are provided with full traffic modelling outputs, including all transport modes, before consultation periods close on major state highway projects?

Hon Chris Bishop: Project teams regularly engage with Councils and provide technical detail to inform feedback. Councils can request further information when material is insufficient, and this process is routinely undertaken.
