1958 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What assessments, if any, have been made of whether consultation timeframes for fast-tracked transport projects have been adequate to allow councils and communities to understand and respond to project impacts?

Hon Chris Bishop: Consultation timeframes for fast‑tracked projects are prescribed in statute. While NZTA has not undertaken a specific assessment of these timeframes, it operates in accordance with the statutory requirements.
