1947 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What guidance, if any, has been issued to Waka Kotahi to ensure councils are provided with sufficient information to make informed submissions on fast-tracked infrastructure projects?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that as part of fast-tracked infrastructure projects NZTA provides a full suite of assessments to councils. NZTA endeavours to provide this information to council ahead of the formal process in parallel with substantial council engagement.
