1943 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What assurances, if any, can he provide that future state highway projects will not proceed to key decision points or consent applications without councils having access to full technical, financial, and impact information?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that project teams are expected to share the information reasonably required for councils to discharge their statutory roles, including technical assessments and summaries of effects.
