1941 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 to ‘Nationally agree on the scope and distribution of specialist cancer and cancer surgical services’ under Outcome 4: New Zealanders have better cancer survival, supportive care and end-of-life care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. This includes New Zealanders living with cancer. I am advised that the Cancer Control Agency continued work to develop models of care for highly complex and low volume surgical services.
