1895 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Transport: Has the Minister or her officials undertaken any work on the distributional impacts of increasing vehicle registration fees?

Hon Simeon Brown: The Ministry of Transport will prepare a Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) for the motor vehicle registration fee increases, which will be expected to consider distributional impacts of the policy. The Ministry of Transport expects to submit the RIS to Cabinet before the final GPS is published in June.
