Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has occurred in the quarter towards the initiative to develop and deliver new health promotion resources to meet sector and community needs, as included on page 12 of 'Getting to Smokefree 2025', as at 27 January 2025?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the October - December 2024 quarter, the smokefree.org.nz website was updated to be more stable and to offer greater accessibility. Improvements to the map function make it easier to find stop smoking services around New Zealand, and to book stop smoking services. I am further advised that a ‘Making a Smoking and Vaping Complaint’ toolkit, and ‘Let's Clear the Air’ resources -- which support schools to be smokefree and vapefree -- were also made available online during the quarter.
