Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What options, if any, are available under existing contracts between Te Whatu Ora, the Ministry of Health, and Manage My Health to impose penalties, require remediation, or terminate contracts following a cyber security incident affecting patient data?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the contracts between Health New Zealand and ManageMyHealth, entered into between 2020 & 2023, contain frameworks for addressing breaches and termination rights.
