1848 (2024). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Will a minister, or ministers be able to make a one-stop-shop consenting and permitting process referral for a project without the referral first being considered by Cabinet?

Hon Chris Bishop: Details regarding the referral process are included in the Fast Track Approvals Bill. The Bill was introduced on 7 March 2024 and is now before the Environment Committee.
