Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Has the Minister or any member of her office had any discussions or exchanged any correspondence or other documents with any other minister or any member of their office, relating to a one-stop-shop consenting and permitting process referral for any specific projects, and if so, which projects?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have received briefings and attended meetings to discuss a one-stop-shop consenting and permitting process. As you’re aware Hon Bishop is leading this work and announced on Thursday 7 March, that the government will be establishing a process to provide advice to Ministers on which projects should be included in the Fast Track Approvals Bill.
