1831 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Do any regional offices the Ministry of Social Development collate or measure the outcomes of work seminars and job expos, and if so, which regions?
Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development has over 120 sites across 13 regions who offer workshops, seminars, job expos and other events to actively engage with job seekers.
Supporting job seekers into employment events are locally driven and each site tailors their offerings and frequency of these events based on the needs of their clients. Outcomes from the events attended by job seekers are not centrally collated as outcomes are recorded on individual client files and would require substantial manual collation.
This is also my response to written parliamentary question 1828 (2024), 1829 (2024) and 1830 (2024).
