Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the action ‘Invest in whānau ora approaches, recognising the importance of the life course approach in the prevention of mate wareware’ under the objective ‘Reduce the incidence of dementia mate wareware’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Improving Dementia Mate Wareware Services in Aotearoa New Zealand Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the July to September quarter, the Health Promotion Agency and the Dementia Mate Wareware Advisory and Leadership Group continued to identify and discuss opportunities to progress this aim. I am further advised conversations on how these actions can be progressed are planned for early 2025.
