1750 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services: Did Ministerial Services inform the Minister that Premier House was “not available” to the Prime Minister to live in; and if so, was this information provided verbally or in writing?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In a written briefing dated 27 November 2023 the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services was initially advised that – “We anticipate that Premier House will be available for occupancy from the week of 18 December 2023.” Following on from the briefing dated 27 November 2023, a written status report dated 15 January 2024 advised the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services that - “We anticipate the Apartment will be available for occupancy by mid—late February 2024 (TBC).”
