1724 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Police: How many people currently hold a firearms license that allows them to hold a fully operational centrefire semiautomatic weapon?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that all persons with a firearms licence are permitted to use firearms meeting this description. As of 1 March 2024, there are 234,531 individual firearms licence holders.
