1625 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: What advice, if any, has she received on the 455 teachers who had previously not been registered returning to the workforce after the Government started funding teachers’ registration fees?

Hon Erica Stanford: I received the following briefings: • 5 August 2025: Information Update- Relief Teaching Update- Funded Limited Authority to Teach and Practising Certificates • 28 May 2025: Information Update- Funded Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) or Practising Certificates- Update on work done by recipients These briefings provided me with updates on the outcomes of the 455 teachers who received funded practising certificates or Limited Authority to Teach (LATs) to return to relief teaching, including insights into how many of these returning teachers had worked as a reliever or had moved into a permanent or part-time role.
